Kristin Abbott

I graduated from Stanford University in 1988 with a degree in American Studies and I also hold a degree in Illustration from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. I have studied painting with Brigitte Curt and Jim Smyth at the California Academy of Painters and also with Ray Mendietta at the Pacific Art League. Currently, I'm working as a freelance artist while laboring towards a Master's degree in Illustration at the Academy of Art in San Francisco. I have been honored to paint portraits for the families of soldiers who have fallen in Iraq and Afghanistan (special thanks to the 84th Engineer Combat Battalion).
